visitor moorings immediately outside the pub sufficient for 6 or more
boats with a water point and rubbish disposal facilities. Pump-out facilities,
gas, diesel and other boating requisites can be found just to the east
of the bridge at George Gibson's Boat Services, Old Builders Wharf,

FishingCoarse Fishing:- The Kennet & Avon Canal provides excellent coarse fishing ( close season March 15th - June 16th) and is well stocked with common, mirror and crucian carp as well as roach, perch and tench.
